Padel levels explained
In short: Most UK clubs use Playtomic's 0–7 level. On our trips we group players into four bands so every court has a close match.
Our four bands
- Beginner (0–1.5): learning the rules and the walls. Rallies are short.
- Improver (1.5–2.5): rallies of 4–6 shots, starting to use the back glass, serves land consistently.
- Intermediate (2.5–3.5): comfortable at the net, can play a bandeja, beginning to plan points with a partner.
- Advanced (3.5+): vibora and smash x3 in the toolkit, consistent off both walls, competitive league player.
If you don't have a level
Use your rally length and how often you play. When you reserve a Second Set place we book a 15-minute call to place you, and refund your deposit if we can't match you to a group.
